X-ray free electron laser facilities are used as a light source to observe the instantaneous motion of atoms and molecules, and it is expected to be powerful tools for the next generation material science. Then further downsizing of the facilities is required for their widespread use. In this study, we investigate an analytical method that can analyze the wake field in the bunch compressor at curved section of a particle accelerator. In particular, time domain boundary element method is employed to analyze the wake field when the Liénard-Wiechert field, which includes a radiation field component, is considered as the electron bunch self-field. |
