Experimental Study of Five-way Divider Utilizing Unequal LC-ladder dividers

(in English) In recent years, microwave technology has been used in various fields such as next generation mobile communication systems, medical, environment, energy applications, and especially the spread of IoT devices has been explosive. Therefore, microwave devices are required higher performance such as miniaturization and broadband. Among microwave devices, microwave power dividers are widely used for such as power dividing/combining, in front and out of amplifier, antenna feeding circuits. The authors have reported on several design methods such as broadband, unequal power division, and multi-band using LC-ladder circuits. In this study, we design and analyze a 5-way divider that connects unequal power dividers, which consist of 9 elements, with power split ratios of 1 to 4, and we confirm experimentally the effectiveness of the proposed circuit by measurement.
