Tensor Networks, specifically Matrix Product State (MPS), are widely used for quantum circuit simulation due to their better memory consumption than its closest alternative, Statevector (SV). MPS is representend as a 1-Dimension tensor network, which makes it generally more difficult to parallelize than SV; even Qiskit, one of the most popular quantum simulators, performs much of its processing sequentially. Here we present an approach to introduce parallelization into its workflow that provides performance improvements in general circuits and significant improvements in specific circuits |
