We have developed an RF coil using high-temperature superconductor (HTS) for nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectrometer. The coil was designed using a three-dimensional electromagnetic field simulator considering the dielectric anisotropy of the sapphire substrates and the nearby components. The fabricated HTS coil was implemented on NMR spectrometer and measured the frequency response and the RF magnetic field distribution with a network analyzer. The coil had a resonance frequency of 601.4 MHz cooled to 12 K. As a result, we revealed that the measurement results and simulated ones are met well. |
