(in English) We present a silicon photonics COSA(coherent optical sub-assembly). The architecture of the silicon photonics chip and the assembly process of the COSA package are described, showing how the high-density packaging, small foot-print, and low cost of COSA were achieved. The COSA has electro-optic/opto-electro 3dB bandwidths of over 50GHz for a transmitter/receiver. We also demonstrate polarization multiplexed 16QAM signal generation and detection.
