Core layout and connection polarity of multicore fibers for bidirectional transmission

(in English) This talk will review our previous reports on multi-core fiber core layout and connection polarity for bidirectional transmissions. Line symmetric core layouts with regard to the line through the cladding center (center line) can realize MCF connection without considering connection polarity managements. Furthermore, the line symmetric core layouts without any core on the center line permit us to use same-structure fan-outs/transceivers at both ends of MCF links.
