Development of a Lecture Streaming System Using an Autostereoscopic Display with Student Characters of Various Actions

(in English) Digital transformations in education has been progressed taking the advantage of COVID-19, however, the importance of relationships between learners has not been changed. By focusing on this, we have conducted studies on generation and control of interaction between learners. For example, we demonstrated that lazy responses after nodding responses lead to better results of quizzes in on-demand lectures with CG classrooms and students’ characters. This suggests importance of variety of motions. In this study, we picked up typical positive and negative motions in face-to-face lectures. Then, developed on-demand lecture streaming system by arranging students’ characters with such motions using autostereoscopic display to enhance interaction with the class. We performed evaluation experiment show that positive or negative attitudes can be shared even when combining of such motions. The validity of the picked up motions is also demonstrated.
