Continuous time-domain measurement method of Rayleigh backscattered light

(in English) We have proposed a method that enables continuous measurement of backscattered light from a specific point of an optical fiber on the time axis. We have demonstrated its effectiveness through experiments. In the verification experiments so far, we have performed the case where the vibration of 1.25 kHz is applied to the optical fiber. This paper describes the results of applying 140 kHz vibration, which is even faster than the vibration that actually occurs in an optical fiber transmission line, to the fiber and using this technology to continuously measure the phase variation at the vibration application point on the time axis.
