[Poster Presentation] An Evaluation of Methods for Identifying Influencers on Social Media using their Ego-Network Structures

(in English) Identifying influencers on social media is an important research topic in the field of network science. This paper evaluates how accurately we can predict influencers on social media solely based on the ego network structures of users. We investigate the accuracy of various models that identify influencers from ego network structures in three different types of datasets and three different influencer identification tasks. The results indicate the effectiveness of machine learning-based influencer identification methods using LightGBM and graph neural networks over non-machine-learning-based baseline methods.
