Validation of a Pseudo-Scale Model by Evaluating Electromagnetic Fields Using the Sommerfeld Integral for the Air-Sea Two-Layer Problem

(in English) In this report, the numerical convergence of the Sommerfeld integral (SI) is investigated by using Sommerfeld's identity with the parameter of the medium constants of conducting media such as seawater. The SI is evaluated by using three numerical integration methods for oscillatory integration, and the Sommerfeld's identity with the parameter of the medium constants of seawater is used to investigate the applicability of the pseudo-scale model to the electromagnetic field of the air-sea water two-layer model. Using Sommerfeld's identity with the medium constants of seawater as parameters, the optimal numerical integration method is determined from the viewpoints of computational accuracy and time. To verify the pseudo-scale model of the electromagnetic field for the air-sea water two-layer model, the spatial distribution of the electric field components for the pseudo-scale model with scale factor n=10, 100, 200 is numerically evaluated in comparison with the original model at 10 kHz.
