Joint Experiment of Interworking Multi-vendors' AI via TM Forum Open API toward Autonomic QoS Management of Cloud Native Services

(in English) Constant monitoring and agile management of cloud-native network functions (CNFs) are the essential to prevent serious degradation of quality of services (QoS) in network service infrastructure. KDDI, NEC, and NICT have developed three types of machine learning (ML)-based network management technologies for cloud-native infrastructure: detecting failure signs from monitoring data, high-speed design framework of network services, and resource management among multiple network functions, respectively. In this article, we exhibit the experimental results of interworking multi-vendors’ AI developed by the three organizations. Our joint experiment validated that the combination of multi-vendors’ AI via Open API standardized by TM Forum, establishes autonomic proactive closed-loop QoS management for cloud-native services against network failures.
