In recent years, personal mobility vehicles, such as Segway and electric scooter, have attracted attention as a new means of transportation. Interactions between riders and pedestrians should be understood to evaluate pedestrian comfort and safety. Previous studies modeled pedestrian, Segway and electric scooter movements using the Social Force Model. In this study, we improved the model for simulating pedestrian and electric scooter. Furthermore, we conducted mixed traffic simulations of pedestrians and Segway and performed impact evaluation. |
