An implementation method for a dynamic simulation pruning strategy in assimilating large-scale pedestrian simulation is proposed. The simulation requires more than five minutes of computation time per trial. However, trials can be terminated midstream with interim evaluations if the assimilation targeted time-series data. The simulation pruning strategy is effective, especially in the case of an optimizer that can handle parallel trials. This paper proposes the method for establishing censoring criteria and implementing the mechanism with an experimental framework. |
