Thévenin's theorem is a useful theorem in linear circuits. This theorem has already been extended to some multiport circuits and nonreciprocal circuits. Explicit formulas for obtaining the network matrices of the equivalent circuit and the value of the equivalent source of each port are presented. The advantage of our method is that we can specify the type of equivalent source for each port. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of an equivalent circuit with a specified kind of equivalent source at each port are shown. The multi-port circuits covered in this paper include non-reciprocal circuits. |
