(in English) 成人女性の顔を観察した際に，かわいさ評価が高いほど瞳孔が縮小することが示されている．しかしながら，他の魅力評価次元や男性顔における瞳孔反応については検討の余地がある．本研究では，成人女性顔と男性顔を用いて複数の魅力評価次元と瞳孔反応との関係を検討することで，顔魅力知覚のメカニズムについて考察する．実験の結果，かわいさまたは魅力度の評価と瞳孔変化率の関係について有意差を得ることができなかった．これは被験者が3人という小さなサンプルサイズで実験をしたことが考えられる．また個人差や文化的要因なども考慮に入れる必要がある．今後の研究においては、サンプルサイズの増加や他の変数の制御などが検討されるべきである．
