| (in English) | The performance of biometric authentication can be improved by combining multiple biometric traits, which is known as multibiometrics. The multiple biometric traits may not be always available, since the optimal combination of biometric traits varies depending on environmental factors such as the distance between the user and the sensor. We explore the practicality of multibiometrics by analyzing the performance of three biometric features: face, periocular region, and iris, which can be extracted from face images. | |
