(in English) The E-MIMO principal method was developed by this laboratory to calculate the maximum efficiency of MIMO systems, and it has already been reported that the optimal excitation voltage of the transmitter elements obtained from this method can be applied to beamforming. In this paper, we compare the excitation voltages and radiation patterns obtained by the Array Factor (AF), Retrodirective, and E-MIMO methods for 3-, 5-, and 7-element dipole antenna arrays, respectively. The electromagnetic field analysis software Feko is used for all analyses.
