CPA ToggleToggle-based Simulation against Multiplier for Pairingairing-based Cryptography

(in English) Pairing-based cryptography is more secure than RSA with a shorter key length, but it is computationally expensive and more efficient to use dedicated hardware for the operation. So, it is important for evaluating resistance to side-channel attack.
In this paper, we obtain a toggle-counting-based power waveform by logic simulation for a multiplier used in pairing operations and conduct CPA simulation. Regarding the results, it is shown that the bit notation of the secret value to be recovered is related to the CPA success rate.
