Because future applications with machine learning and AI require more sophisticated and faster computational
processing, quantum edge computing, in which a quantum computer is used as an edge server, is expected. In quantum edge
computing, the processing accuracy of a computing task varies greatly depending on the processing content of the task and the
hardware characteristics of each quantum computer. It is necessary to consider the accuracy of quantum computation when
offloading tasks. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a task offloading that achieves highly accurate computational processing
by taking into account each user’s processing task and the hardware characteristics of each server. The proposed method
uses an optimization problem to determine the allocation that maximizes the average computational accuracy of each task. In
numerical examples, we show the effectiveness of our proposed method. |
