Private-preserving encoding and decoding using variable-length coding schemes

(in English) Variable-length segmented bit-vectors are commonly used in variable-length coding schemes and the construction of succinct data structures. Because the positions where the bit-vector is split contain some information of plain data, previous algorithms for normal computation are hard to use in secure computation. In this paper, we propose protocols for oblivious encoding and decoding using variable-length prefix code. Then, we extend these methods for non-singular code and apply them to compressing data structures.
