(in English) Providing high-quality services that utilize personal data is an effective approach to providing new awareness and expanding interests to individuals. As a way to effectively utilize personal data while ensuring transparency, we are considering applying Personal Data Store(PDS) to broadcast media services.
Considering the current situation where social implementation of PDS has not progressed in Japan, we conducted a Proof-of-Concept based on prototyping of a system in which users can sovereignly manage and utilize personal data. Through the results of interviews with nine subjects, we investigated the requirements and acceptability of PDS utilization, and we will discuss the results.
