An even harmonic quadrature mixer MMIC for quantum bits' exciting

(in English) This paper describes a prototype of an even harmonic quadrature mixer MMIC used for a microwave source exciting superconducting Quantum bits (Qubits) in a quantum computer. The quantum computer uses a microwave for control and readout of the qubits. The microwave source requires low spurious for suppressing quantum error. In this work, strong suppression of even order mixing products in an even harmonic mixer used anti-parallel diode pairs, and additional suppression of 3rd order mixing products with a ring configuration and stacked diodes are expected. The fabricated even harmonic quadrature mixer works as an image rejection. Additional DC voltage on IF ports(I/Q) suppress even order mixing products such as virtual LO frequency. The fabricated X band even harmonic quadrature mixer MMIC achieved desired frequency output power of -29.1dBm, virtual local leakage of -77.7dBc, and image rejection ratio of 23.2dB at IM3 of -60dBc.
