(in English) Japan Patent Office made a survey of technical trends in the field of MIMO and Antenna Technologies in Millimeter Wave Bands based on Patent Applications （Analysis including applications to 5G） in terms of patent applications. In this survey, we analyzed about patent documents and journal articles. We classified them from various perspectives on the basis of technological contents of them. We report on the result of the survey.
