(in English) The Chikuma City Anzu Project (Ambient Networking via Zonal Ubiquitous project) is a regional collaborative ICT (information and communications technology) project between National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), Shinshu University, and Chikuma City, Nagano Prefecture. The aim is to improve the convenience of local citizens' lives and revitalize new industries by utilizing LPWA technologies, and to develop technology and R&D related to new regional collaboration ICT. Various experiments related to local LPWA networks are underway using sensor network equipment (Chikuma City Anzu Network) using low power wide area wireless technology (LPWA) installed at 14 locations throughout the city. The Resilient Natural Environment Measurement Project of Resilient ICT center, NICT is developing power-independent LoRa communication technology using the Chikuma Anzu Network. In this paper, we introduce an energy harvesting type LoRa communication system using an WoR (Wakekup on Radio) type LoRa module, and discuss performance verification in Chikuma City.
