[Invited Talk] Technology Roadmapping in the Digital Transformation Era

(in English) Major changes are taking place in a variety of fields due to major advances in digital technologies such as AI and IoT. This era of change is said to be the era of VUCA, in which the future is difficult to predict. At the same time, global issues that must be solved from a long-term perspective, such as global environmental problems and an aging society with a declining birthrate, are also becoming apparent. In this context, roadmapping, in which roadmaps are created by stakeholders concerned, is important. In this presentation, the roles of roadmaps and roadmapping in the DX era in companies, ecosystems, society, and academia are be reviewed, and the roadmap and roadmapping of the Mathematical Systems Science and its Applications (MSS) Research Group are discussed.
