Interference and Ambiguity Reduction to Pulse Doppler Radar with Phase Control Time Modulated Array Antenna

(in English) A low side lobe level radiation pattern in a phased array antenna is desired for the radar systems. The phase shifter control type time modulated array antenna has been investigated to achieve ultra-low side lobe pattern. In this method, a desired pattern can be accomplished in a time average procedure by temporally controlling of each element phase. In this paper, it is presented that the evaluation of interference reduction and the technique to suppress velocity ambiguity to pulsed doppler radar using the phase control time modulated array antenna. The effectiveness of proposed method is demonstrated by computer simulation.
