| (in English) | Recently, the virtual space called metaverse has attracted attention. Several studies suggest that blockchain is an appropriate mechanism for managing content usage rights in an open metaverse where content can be exchanged between multiple metaverses. However, decentralized blockchains present challenges in controlling the cost of transactions. In this paper, we develop a prototype of a non-blockchain content usage rights management system interacting with a metaverse system to realize content usage rights management in an open metaverse. In this prototype system, we added externally verifiable signatures by transaction stakeholders to certificates that define content usage rights in the metaverse system, and run a process to verify the authenticity of the signatures. As a result, we showed that the rights management of the content data can be carried out using the rights certificate issued by the prototype system. | |
