In Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), to improve the reliability of wireless communication, it is important to design the system to tolerate estimation error in unstable radio signal environment.
A method of estimating the received signal strength map (RSS map) was previously proposed that visualizes the received signal using a probability distribution, and visualized the estimation error in the form of variance.
However, this method did not take into account the radio signal environment within the estimation area, which resulted in a loss of accuracy.
In this paper, the estimation model is improved to take into account the radio signal environment in the estimation area.
In the evaluation, the radio signal is measured using indoor private 5G environment.
Using the data, the received signal of millimeter wave is estimated by probability distribution, taking the radio signal environment into account.
In addition, the design of error tolerance based probability distribution is discussed. |
