[Poster Presentation] Adaptive Transmit Power Control for SC-FDE Transmission in Dynamic Radio Propagation Environments

(in English) In realizing new mobile applications envisioned for 6G, wireless system design is critical in improving data rates and effectively reducing power consumption. In this report, we focus on SC-FDE, which has a smaller PAPR than OFDM and enables highly efficient power amplification, and propose uplink transmit power control using use machine learning in scenarios characterized by varying delay spreads owing to line-of-sight and non-line-of-sight conditions. In the proposed method, focusing on the fact that the theoretical performance of SC-FDE inherently depends on the delay spread, the dependence of the required CNR on the delay spread is learned in advance by machine learning, which makes it possible to directly derive the required CNR for transmit power control. We also verify the effectiveness of the proposed method from the viewpoints of throughput and transmit power by computer simulations.
