| (in English) | Visual Programming Language (VPL), a method of expressing programs not by writing them in text but by combining visual objects, has been studied. In recent years, VPL has been utilized in low-code development, which is attracting attention as a means of DX realization. In VPL, there is a problem of reduced productivity due to the difficulty in deciding what to select and what to assemble from among the many visual objects. On the other hand, in the field of text-based programming, there is a technology called code completion that assists programmers in coding. In this study, we proposed a visual code completion method to solve the productivity problem of VPL. The results of a simple experiment using a prototype tool show that the proposal may contribute to improving VPL productivity. | |
