This paper studies connection recombination cellular automata constructed by applying global permutation connection to elementary cellular automata. Depending on the parameters, this system can generate various binary periodic orbits. Applications include time-series approximation and error correcting codes. Investigating 7-dimensional examples, we have discovered globally stable binary periodic orbits such that almost all initial points fall into the orbits. These results will be developed into generalized analysis and its engineering applications. |
