Simple Measurement Method for Reflectarray Using Monostatic-Bistatic Equivalence Theorem

(in English) In fifth-generation mobile communications, coverage holes are concerned due to the use of millimeter-wave bands. Reflectarray (RA: Reflectarray) has gained attention to reduce the coverage holes. RA is evaluated by the bistatic Radar cross section (RCS) measurements. However, bistatic RCS measurements are difficult to perform near the angle of incidence
angle of plane wave. To solve this problem, the Monostatic-Bistatic Equivalent Theorem (MBET), which estimates the bistatic RCS from the monostatic RCS, has been proposed. However, to the best of our knowledge, the MBET applied to RA have not been reported. This paper presents the effectiveness of the MBET method to estimate bistatic scattering fields of RA.
