This paper aims to conduct a comparative analysis of the reflectance spectral signature of a particular object in a tropical area between observed data and predicted value derived from middle-resolution satellite data, Landsat 9. Based on the previous research, the mountain sand area is selected as an object that fulfills the conditions for the measurement. The field observation used an advanced field spectrometer to collect object radiance values at the time the satellite passes. Several scenarios of processing and comparison analysis have been processed. Both observed and predicted reflectance values have no significant differences after the processing applied. |
