(in English) By using a digital power supply control microcontroller (MD series), we have achieved various improvements in power supply performance, such as miniaturization and improved characteristics, by using a unique digital control method that was difficult to achieve with conventional analog control. In this paper, we report on digital power supplies for LED lighting as application examples, including the characteristics of our digital power supply control microcontrollers (differences from general microcontrollers).
