[Poster Presentation] Optical Nanofiber Microcavity for Strong Coupling Quantum System

(in English) The strong coupling (SC) regime of optical nanofiber (ONF)-based cavity quantum electrodynamics (cQED) was only observed using cold atom(s) with relatively long cavities. Such systems are bulky and expensive, and it is important to minimize the size, complexity, and cost to realize commercial quantum technologies. Here. we fabricated ONF microcavities using a Ga focused ion beam for a quantum dot (QD) hybrid system which can enter the SC regime by controlling ONF-based cQED parameters. We further improved the optical quality of microcavities by laser annealing. This study is a step forward towards an all-fiber quantum communication scheme.
