This paper addresses the resource allocation to prevent the spread of computer viruses. The spread of viruses is represented by a modified SIRS model on a complex network. By leveraging the modified SIRS model, our approach aims to mitigate the spread of epidemics over intricate networks utilizing constrained vaccines. A notable feature of the proposed resource allocation problem is that it is capable of deriving a continuous resource allocation plan in response to antibody waning, rather than only allocating resources with a total quantity constraint. The above resource allocation problem is formulated as an optimal predictive control problem for the dynamics of antibody waning and is solved as a linear programming problem. |
