The purpose of this study is to develop a medical application to improve anxiety and fatigue in cancer patients and cancer survivors through musical intervention. In this study, 50 participants were recruited from the general public and asked to complete the POMS2 questionnaire to evaluate the effect of "soundtope wellbeing (WB)," an application that can be operated by each individual to automatically compose music based on a model of natural phenomena, on improving mood. The results showed that the TMD (Total Mood Disturbance) score, which represents the overall negative mood state, was significantly improved after the "soundtope WB" experience compared to after the "rest" experience. Further improvements will be made for use by cancer survivors in the future. |
