We report on the multipath interference (MPI) characteristics generated when two types of multi-core fiber (MCF) with different cutoff wavelengths are cascaded with short lengths of each MCF. In addition, the impact of the cumulative MPI generated when dual-polarized signals are transmitted through a core-selective switch on the system is investigated from the viewpoint of bit error rate measurements. |
