(in English) Quantum communication is a new paradigm for transmitting quantum information. Photons, which are capable of carrying quantum information, are highly anticipated as the transmission medium for quantum communication, and optical fiber networks are also expected to serve as the infrastructure for quantum communication. However, quantum information is vulnerable to noise and signal attenuation, requiring dedicated quantum error management during transmission. As a result, quantum communication systems effectively become quantum computer networks with quantum-optical interfaces. Therefore, the fusion of photonic and quantum computing technologies is a crucial issue in realizing and developing quantum communication systems. This presentation will outline the overview of quantum communication systems. It will discuss the mechanics of these systems, the global state of research and development, the current stage of progress, and future challenges.
