Verification of DC Bus Signaling Operation for DC Distribution System with Multi Level Virtual Conductor

(in English) This paper confirms the behavior of a hierarchical DC power supply system where two devices based on DC Bus Signaling (DBS) are interconnected via two Multi Level Virtual Conductor (MLVC). DBS is an autonomous decentralized control method that changes the operating mode of each power supply according to the DC bus voltage, which allows cooperative control of power supplies without any communication. Previous research analyzed the load sharing characteristics among power supply models with droop control through DC public bus and two MLVCs. Based on this analysis, this paper confirms the behavior of the entire system when three facilities are interconnected by MLVCs through simulation. It was assumed that there are multiple renewable energy sources (photovoltaics, batteries) randomly interconnected to each facility that operate according to DBS.
