In Japan, there has been a rapid progression of aging, giving rise to various anticipated challenges. A high proportion of the number of ambulance dispatches is attributable to the older population. Thus, with the progress of aging, the demand for emergency medical care is expected to increase, and countermeasures that make effective use of limited medical resources are needed. In this study, we propose an estimation model of the daily number of ambulance dispatches using deep learning with the data provided by the Nagoya City Fire Department. First, we investigated the correlation between the number of ambulance dispatches and environmental and social factors. The results showed that the variations in the trends of the number of transported population based on different types of disease, with differences between the older and young groups. The proposed prediction model using deep learning for yielded an estimation accuracy with an error of 7.7±0.3 %. |
