(in English) The combination of the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction and predistortion (PD) technique removes the nonlinear distortions caused by power amplification and improves the power efficiency. In this study, assuming downlink amplify-and-forward (AF)-type relaying of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO)-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal, we propose a joint method that combines predistortion technique with the previously proposed PAPR reduction method that the BS signal processing reduces the PAPR at the base station (BS) and the relay station (RS) utilizing the null space of the MIMO channel. The proposed method reduces the PAPR at the RS by signal processing at the BS and increases the effect of PD at the RS. Computer simulation results show that the proposed method can increase the effect of PD at the RS and achieve higher throughput than the conventional method.
