Improved transmission characteristics at bends in high-speed signal lines
Akinori Nomoto, Sinichi SasakiSasaki (SU) EMCJ2023-88
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In recent years, with the downsizing and higher functionality of information equipment, the deterioration of transmission characteristics has become a problem at signal bends. In this laboratory, the shape of the signal line curve is being changed for the purpose of evaluating and improving the characteristics of the curve. So far, it has been confirmed that curve bending is the most effective at suppressing impedance deviation through characteristic evaluation of two 45-degree bends, corner cuts, inner circular cuts, and curve bends. In this research, the purpose of this study was to clarify the shape of the bending part to improve the deterioration of characteristic due to the bending, and to confirm the relationship between the transmission characteristics of the curved bending and the substrate structure, and to examine the shape of the bend in the differential transmission line.
