In order to obtain the spatial distribution of electromagnetic waves around electronic devices, a method has been proposed in which the magnetic field vector distribution is measured using a metasurface substrate on which metal loops are periodically arranged. The metasurface substrate was highly reflective during measurements, disturbing the surrounding radio wave environment. In this research, we designed and prototyped a metasurface substrate having a periodic array of metal loops that transmits electromagnetic waves in order to avoid disturbing the surrounding radio wave environment as much as possible, and evaluated its performance of measuring magnetic field vector distribution. |
