(in English) In this research, we carry out PolSAR image analysis for accurately detecting flooded residential area, by using quad-polarimetric SAR data acquired by space-borne SAR as ALOS-2/PALSAR-2. In previous researches, it was sometimes difficult to detect the flood affected residential area from images using difference of the polarimetric indicators between before and after the flood obtained by eigenvalue/eigenvector analysis, since the difference is often small. Here we try to propose a simple change detection procedure for classifying flood affected residential area, by considering changes in the scattering mechanism of each eigenvector and angles between the eigenvectors before and after the flood. We show some experimental results of ALOS-2/PALSAR-2 data including flooded residential area, to confirm the validity of the proposed simple change detection procedure.
