(in English) A nut inserted into a vibrated bolt or screw attached to a vibrated member
will cause continuous rotation if the nut or screw is not tightened.
Although very common in threaded fasteners, this phenomenon, in which the direction of rotation of a nut or screw depends on the type of vibration induced in the structure, either clockwise or counterclockwise, has not been studied extensively.
The mechanism is that the rotating motion of the nut and screw is not a continuous motion as explained by sliding or rolling involving friction between the screw and seat surfaces, but a discontinuous motion that repeatedly moves through a small gap between the bolt and nut without resistance and then collides with the bolt and nut, based on the periodic, violent collision noise.
This phenomenon will be observed with a high-speed camera to clarify the mechanism.
