A Certification of Channel Model Measurement Methods for Local 5G Systems in Communication Environments of Japan and German

(in English) We have already confirmed our PDP (Power Delay Profile) measurement method without Tx special demodulation for Local 5G using Japanese Local 5G environment. PDP is important as channel model for MIMO design. Therefore, we call this PDP channel model type 2. New trial in German environment using this method is described in this report. An effectiveness of this method is also confirmed in German system. Furthermore, we obtain a relation between distance and received power as channel model for line design, applying similar usage to our proposed PDP measurement without Tx special level control. Therefore, we call this relation channel model type 1. A measurement of type 1 channel model is performed for LOS (Line of Sight) and NLOS (Non Line of Sight). Especially a gradiant linear approximation of obtained data at LOS condition is near to the gradiant of Fris’s equation.
