[Invited Talk] Integrated circuits and digital calibration for high-speed high-resolution low-power A/D converters

(in English) Given rapid advance of AI, acquisition of high-quality digital data from analog sensor signals is crucial than ever. A high-speed high-resolution A/D converter plays a key role here. The author has been engaged in development of digitally assisted A/D converters so far, which can enhance performance by applying digital calibration aggressively. The digital calibration benefits from CMOS process scaling and enables stable high-quality A/D conversion with low power. This paper gives an overview of several digitally assisted A/D converters we developed in terms of circuits and digital calibration used.
