In recent years, there has been an increase in the number of illegal radio stations that use radio waves with power exceeding the limits or on illegal frequencies. Today, a radio monitoring system called the DEURAS system exists to crack down on them. However, because this system uses sensor stations installed on radio towers or building rooftops for monitoring, the system may not work well if the illegal radio stations have no line of sight or generate a lot of reflected waves, depending on the surrounding environment. To solve this problem, the author has previously devised a radio wave source estimation system using HAPS, an unmanned aerial vehicle flying at high altitude. However, the previous proposal did not consider the use of HAPS as a base station, which is the main application of HAPS. Therefore, in this study, a radio wave source estimation system using HAPS that also considers its use as a base station is devised, and its effectiveness is demonstrated through numerical analysis. |
