(in English) In environmental monitoring IoT systems, it is convenient to use cellular networks, Wi-Fi, LoRa, etc. for wireless communications that use radio waves to transmit data from remote locations. However, there are surprisingly few radio systems suitable for wireless methods for IoT systems in sparsely populated areas such as the ocean or deep in the mountains. Although FT8 is an extremely low-speed data communication, it has better SNR characteristics than CW and can decode multiple stations simultaneously in a narrow bandwidth. Another advantage is that it can be implemented using a combination of a radio for voice communication and a PC sound card.
